LAN review

Open a board for review with others on the same local network. One person hosts a specific project (board) and everyone else joins to see and discuss it together. Nothing uploads to a cloud; the session stays on your LAN.

  • Host: from File ▸ LAN session, start hosting the current board. ReelMarkr runs a small broker on your machine that the others connect to.
  • Join: on each other machine, choose File ▸ LAN session ▸ Join… and pick the host. Peers are discovered on the network, and you load into the same board.

A session shares one board: the host’s project. Edits sync as full board snapshots with a last-writer-wins model, so the most recent change wins. Peers’ cursors and node positions update live as people move around and arrange the board.

This is built for a small team on a trusted local network reviewing one project together. It is not a cloud service, and not a fine-grained merge or branching system.

  • Everyone on the same local network, able to reach the host machine.
  • A trusted network: the session is meant for people you trust on that LAN.
