Sign in & activate

Activate from File ▸ Sign In / Activate License… with your JLTools account (email

• password). Sign out from the same menu.

The dialog has a Device Name field, pre-filled with your computer’s name. It appears in your account’s device list. Rename it before activating (say, “Edit bay 2”) and your real computer name never leaves the machine. Activation sends only this label and an anonymous device ID. See the privacy policy.

Devices & seats

Your plan includes a set number of device seats. Manage and deactivate them from your account on the ReelMarkr site. Deactivating frees the seat and removes the device’s name.

Sign in on one app and the other two pick it up. All three share the same license state, which survives being offline for a grace window before a re-check.

First launch on macOS

macOS installs are drag-and-drop, so the first launch of each app shows the license agreement. Accept to continue to sign-in. Reinstalling asks again.

License & Legal in every app

Help ▸ License & Legal… reopens the license documents and third-party notices in the main app, RM Player, and the Immersion Canvas (hamburger menu ▸ Help). Full terms online: EULA · Terms · Privacy.

Updates

Help ▸ Check for Updates… looks for a newer version. On Windows it installs in place, with no manual uninstall. On macOS the updater downloads the build and mounts it for you to drag into Applications, and refuses a download built for the wrong platform. All three apps also run a silent update check in the background. The updater closes the running suite apps before installing and relaunches the app you were in.
