Composition guides

Section titled “Composition guides”

Guides are an overlay you can switch on to check framing and composition. Press G to toggle them:

  • With a single image or GIF selected, G shows or hides a composition-guide overlay on that element.
  • Otherwise G toggles the guide overlay on the board’s video nodes.

The guide image, color, and opacity are set in Settings, so you can load your own overlay (rule-of-thirds, title-safe, a custom template) and tune how strongly it reads.
