Opening files
Open media with File ▸ Open Video… (Ctrl + O), by dragging a file onto the window, or by launching the Player with a path. Double-clicking a supported file in Explorer works too.
Drag several clips on and each opens in its own tab, last one active. Tabs are closable, reorderable by dragging, and scroll when there are more than fit. Each remembers its own playhead position.
Supported formats
Section titled “Supported formats”- Video:
.mp4.mov.m4v.mkv.webm.avi.wmv.mpg.mpeg.mts.m2ts.ts.mxf. See File formats. Unusual codecs are converted for playback automatically (a brief “Converting for playback” notice) and still scrub frame-accurately. Requires ffmpeg. - Frames / images:
.png.jpg.tif.tiff.gif.webp. Import.exrsequences on the canvas. - Docs:
